Rental conditions and contract information
Below you will find a summary of the most important rental conditions. The legally binding wording is always specified in the rental agreement and on the Rental terms page.
As a standard, we require at least two valid identity documents (for example an ID card and a driving licence).
In justified cases we may ask for additional proof of identity and clean criminal record.
The minimum rental period is 4 days. The rental fee is charged in 24-hour blocks.
After the agreed return time has passed, we charge a contractual surcharge of
CZK 100 for each started hour of delay.
The car must be returned clean and washed, in a similar condition as when it was handed over.
The fuel level on return must not be lower than at pick-up.
Trips abroad are currently possible only to a limited extent
and always strictly upon prior mutual agreement.
The renter is obliged to arrange, at his own expense, suitable
assistance services / insurance including towing back to the Czech Republic.
The deposit and the estimated rental fee are paid when the vehicle is picked up.
The standard comprehensive insurance deductible is usually 10 %,
minimum CZK 10,000 (the exact amount may vary depending on the vehicle type).
In the event of an accident or damage to the vehicle, stop immediately,
secure the scene and call the police.
Take photos and fill in an accident report and contact the rental company as soon as possible.
If the wrong type of fuel is filled, the entire deposit is forfeited
and the renter pays all costs connected with the repair and any downtime.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
Pets are not allowed unless explicitly agreed in advance.
All fines and penalties for traffic offences committed during the rental period
are paid by the renter. For the duration of the rental, the renter is considered
to be the operator of the vehicle.
Upon prior agreement, it is possible to return the car at another branch
of Car Rental 001, possibly for an extra fee.
Practical information about the rental
In Olomouc we offer modern passenger cars, automatics, SUVs and minibuses
(7–9 seats). All vehicles are regularly serviced, clean and ready to drive.
Most cars include unlimited mileage and a Czech motorway vignette –
we will confirm the exact conditions when you make a reservation.
As a guide, prices range from CZK 599 to CZK 2,500 per day,
depending on the vehicle type and the length of the rental.
The exact price will be confirmed with a non-binding enquiry
or when booking a specific vehicle.
Yes. Upon prior arrangement it is possible to pick up or return the car
even outside standard opening hours.
We usually accept payments in cash.
Depending on current options, selected mobile payments or bank transfers
may be used upon agreement.
Yes, for the Czech Republic the motorway vignette is included in the price
for most vehicles. We will always confirm the details for a specific car.
